Local Gun Stores / Ranges

Below is a list of the stores I have had the pleasure of doing business with and the ranges I visit most often. 

South Shore Sportsman

Great store, friendly service, very knowledgeable.

Britt Firearms

Coliseum Gun Traders

Good selection, friendly staff. Located in central Nassau County.

South Shore Shooting Range

Great store and range. Fair prices, good selection, clean and updated range. Friendly staff.

Calverton Shooting Range

The sign says it all. Worth the drive, just show up 30 min early to wait for the gate to open.

Nassau County Range

The Nassau County Rifle and Pistol Range is the only such facility open to the public in the county. There are six ranges and 30 individual shooting points available, and targets can be set from 5-30 yards. The range is located at the Mitchel Field Athletic Complex in the "Hub" area, just west of the Nassau Coliseum.

Suffolk Sporting Clays

Trap & skeet, 5 stand, and sporting clays. Pro Shop onsite. Range is open Wednesday through Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Freeport Revolver and Rifle

Excellent private range that offers opportunities for joining in on competitive shooting events,

Blue Mountain Sportsman

Training with some of the best in NY. Great range to visit.
